To better tell the Pleasant View story and make the site more accessible, structural improvements are urgently needed. The church and the schoolhouse require immediate stabilization. A since demolished third structure will be rebuilt to serve as a state of the art multipurpose center. Together, this site will promote educational and cultural programs that will allow children, youth, and adults from the broader community and beyond to explore a collective heritage, create a fabric of a beloved community, and unite as one people.

Our goal is to raise $1M to preserve and protect this important memorial in the Quince Orchard community. To date, we have received $400K in donations and pledges from both governmental, corporate, and individual donors. However, to access the pledged funds from the State and County, we need to raise additional matching funds.

While any amount is appreciated, our sponsorship levels are below. All sponsors will be recognized at our community JuneFest event on June 23rd on the grounds of Pleasant View to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the momentous purchase of the Historic Site.

Donors who pledge $150 or more will have their name engraved in a 150th Anniversary Commemorative Brick.
